Russian Orthodox crucifixion crosses made of gold or silver are placed on people in the sacrament of baptism in the offering of the words of Christ: “Whoever wants to go after Me, reject himself, and take the cross, and follow Me” (M. 8, 34 ). From baptism to death, wear it on the chest, without taking it off. The natelnyj cross helps to get rid of illnesses and troubles, strengthens the spirit, protects from evil and in difficult circumstances. Under Christ the cross was a symbol the shameful death penalty, - according to Him, the cross became the sign of victory and the most perfect weapon in the light. The cross is a short drawing of the universe and the wreath of absolute truth. On the cross the Son of God was crucified, who escaped from the torments the atrocity of every human being from the first Adam to the last dark man.
