Here you will find out how you can determine your ring size quickly and accurately.
Attention! Everything “at home” The methods are of course not exact. Various errors are possible. Therefore, we assume no responsibility for the accuracy of your ring size determination.
It should be noted that the ring must be passed through the connection. Be sure to take this into account when making “homemade” products. Determine the size!
Also keep in mind that finger size changes depending on ambient temperature and humidity, as well as the time of day. The optimal time to determine the size – midday. Weather – low humidity and not hot.
Method No. 1
The easiest way to find out what ring size you need for a particular finger – To do this, go to the nearest jewelry store and ask to measure your finger. In every jewelry store there are special patterns for determining finger size (“finger gauges”). You can also buy a finger gauge in our online shop, link here: FINGER
If you don't have time to go to a jewelry store, you can determine the size of your finger at home and therefore the ring that suits you. There are many ways to do this. Here are some of the most interesting ones.
Method #2
Determine the ring size using a thread. You will need: a fairly dense thread (threads used for knitting napkins are ideal), preferably cotton, smooth. Approximately 50 cm - to make it easier to take measurements
Take the thread and carefully wrap 5 turns around the finger you need (the width of the “wrap” of all 5 turns should be about 3-6 mm). It is not necessary to wind the thread tightly, but the thread should still be pressed tightly to your finger.
After wrapping your finger, cross both ends of the thread (without lifting it from your finger) and cut them at the same time with sharp scissors. Or simply mark the intersection of the thread ends with a pen or marker, unwind the thread and cut it at the marks.
Use a ruler, tape measure or tape measure to measure the length of the cut thread. Divide the resulting length in millimeters by 15.7. The resulting value is the finger ring size you measured.
The resulting size must be rounded up to the nearest half centimeter. For example 17.1 to 17.5
Tip: If you are sizing for a narrow ring (up to 5mm wide), the resulting size can be rounded to the nearest value. For example, 17.1 and 17.2 before 17, not until 17.5. For wide rings (6-15 mm), it is better to choose half a size larger.

Method #3
What to do if you want to give your girlfriend a ring?
The most reliable way to find out your ring size is obvious - you need to discreetly take one of your girlfriend's favorite rings and then take it to the nearest jewelry store. They will certainly help you with this: the jeweler can easily and absolutely accurately determine the size of the ring, and you just need to remember them when choosing.
Method #4
You can also make it easier: take a ring, paper and trace the inner contour of the ring with a pen. Or roll a sheet of paper into a tube, insert it into the ring and make sure the paper is firmly against the metal, attach the paper tube. Based on this overview, the jeweler can determine the size and choose a ring for you.
Method #5
If you don't like the previous methods, the only option is to try them on. Take the ring and try it yourself: put the ring on your finger as deep as possible and mark this place (for example with a pen) or simply memorize it. Then you just have to ask the jeweler to measure your finger on the mark and determine the ring size, or when choosing a piece of jewelry, try on the rings yourself on the same finger.
