I bought a silver ring with large onyx stones. Five days later, one of the stones flew off and was lost, leaving a small chip. The store accused me of being careless in wearing it. Can I claim a refund?
This should be determined by an independent jeweler expert.If the stone was poorly secured, then there is a manufacturing defect; you have the right to warranty repair or exchange of the product.
If the ring is damaged as a result of careless wear, repairs are at the client's expense.
